Sherlock season 4 will be airing early 2016 while the shooting will commence late next year, however, Sherlock fans will be in for a treat on Christmas 2015 as the producers will be releasing a special one-off episode of Sherlock which Benedict Cumberbatch says “Is nothing like what you have ever seen before”.
Sources say that all preparations for the special episode are completed and the shooting for it will begin early next year and also confirms that it will be longer in length than the usual 90 minutes episode time, it will be sort of like a ‘very riveting mini movie’ says director Paul McGuigan.
