Youngster director Ashraf Shishir’s ‘Gariwala’ is a government grant received film that shows the lives of two siblings and their mother as they struggle through life trapped deep inside the grips of poverty.
Noteworthy, the film has also competed and gone on to win the title for best film in the International Film Festival of Rajasthan, India and has won the same title at Italy’s Gulf of Naples Independent Film Festival.
While most theaters in our country should be screening this globally acclaimed movie, they are just too busy screening the navels of people infected with elephantiasis or Jalil Bhai, but if you are a good movie fanatic, you will find your “WAYS” to watch the movie, I am sure.
