For those of you who remember Mohammed Jafar Iqbal’s famous book based on our liberation war ‘Amar Bondhu Rashed’, you will be happy to know that the movie based on that famous novel is to be released on April 1st. For those of you who have not read the book, you will be able to read the story from www.amarbondhurashed.com, recently a special exhibition of the movie was shown in the international children’s movie festival in Dhaka. Children from all over the country attended the festival. Morshedul Islam, the director of the movie said that, ” We are planning to release the movie in 5 cinema halls inside and outside Dhaka, but we are not thinking about releasing it for TV Audience at this moment.”
The movie was supposed to be released in March 25th, but it was postponed due to the ICC World Cup.
