The multi-talented and soon to be married man George Clooney will be honored on the 72nd Golden Globes with this special award, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association will present Clooney with the award. Clooney has already won the Golden Globes award 4 times and has been nominated 13 times on different categories.
The award has been presented to people who has contributed the film industry with something special since 1952; artists and directors like Sofia Lauren, Robert D Nero, Robin Williams, Anthony Hopkins, Stephen Spielberg, etc has already been honored with this special award.
Last year, Woodie Allen won the award, Clooney is being given the award for his contribution to the film society and his various humanitarian contributions. The 72nd Golden Globes awards ceremony will be held on the 11th of January, 2015.
